The Commons at Fertile Ground is the direct result of the Olympia community's hands on involvement. If you're looking for a chance to also create a positive impact, there are several ways you can do that.

Volunteering/Internships

Seasonal opportunities to volunteer are frequently available. When we have a work party, we send out an invitation to community members.

Internships are mainly available in the spring if they focus on the garden. Other past internships have included fall and winter activities like organizing/cataloging our library, food and herb preservation, video projects and community asset mapping.
